Wellness & Life Coach, Consultant, Speaker, Author
and Peak Performance Coach for Girl Athletes
Dr. Meg Hanshaw's life mission is to create a student-led Wellness and Empowerment Education Center that serves as a new model of healthy practices in education so that all students have the freedom, confidence and skills to live their highest and healthiest vision for self, community and the world so the NEXT Generation is a WELL Generation.
"I was fortunate to have had a variety of educational and work experiences in my life. Each place I moved, I was able to further my passions and create new & different programs. Throughout all of my experiences, I found myself talking to students, parents and teachers and could see what was working and not working in their lives, their schools and their work. At the same time, I struggled with chronic fatigue syndrome, bouts of depression, co-dependency and different physical ailments. As a result, I became a life-long lover and "practicer" of true wellness and healed naturally. I became more and more balanced, confident, healthier and felt freer. I began to live my life for my higher purpose and have been stretched positively beyond my imagination. "
As a result of all these experiences, Meg has become passionate about supporting others in living a life of high-level wellness...THE WELLTHY LIFE. There are many individuals in our society who are beginning to understand and live from the wellness paradigm and realize that living this way is what it means to live a life of true success.
Meg is currently, teaching, coaching, consulting and speaking. She is the Founder and President of the Board for International Body-Mind Empowerment Enterprises located in Asheville, NC, and the Director of Teacher Empowerment at Empowerment Enterprises in Dallas, Texas.
